Mixed Bunch with Pals Paper Arts #PPA219

Good morning!  Happy Saturday to you.

It's definitely starting to feel like fall here in Ontario.  The leaves have started turning colour, the nights are getting really cool and I needed to pull long pants and hoodies out for the kids to wear this week at school!

So.....when Pals Paper Ats came up with a fall colour combo for their challenge this week, I just had to take advantage of it!  I didn't have the exact colours that the 'recipe' called for, so I hope I haven't broken any rules. But I thought I would give it a try anyway!

When I think fall, I think of those big beautiful sunflowers - so I just had to include one in my card.  I thought the Crushed Curry was the perfect colour and the Mixed Bunch stampset and matching punch (Blossom Punch) were ideal to make a great sunflower!  I love that you can punch out the flower center as well using the 1" circle punch - easy!  The leaves for my flower were made using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.

I used up some of my retired Designer Series Paper - I AM addicted to that stuff!  lol  This paper in particular is from last year's Christmas DSP - I just love that it doesn't say Christmas and I LOVE those polka dots!

Here is my card.........

What do you think?

I improvised a little with Old Olive instead of Always Artichoke and I used Baked Brown Sugar in place of Cajun Craze - it was as close as I had.

My greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and I finished it off with a large candy dot I had in my stash.

Be sure to stop by Pals Paper Arts to see all of the wonderful creations there!

Happy Stampin'

Tammy
