Christmas with Freshly Made Sketches #162

Hey there my Stampin' friends,

Thank you for dropping in today!  I don't know where the time has passed since I last blogged.  Where have I been?

Well, I have stamped at 2 private parties - it is always fun to meet some great new stampin' friends - and hockey, hockey, hockey!  All three of my boys are right in the midst of their hockey season!  I have to admit, I LOVE to watch them play!

Well, you stopped by to see a new card from me.....and I have a Christmas card to show you today.  I decided to get into the grove using the great sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches!  This is a good one!

I knew I wanted to use the stampset Merry Everything.  And I knew that I wanted to use the stamp "A Very Merry Everything  to you and Yours" - I think it is perfect for the chalkboard technique!  This set is awesome to have...I have used it for Thanksgiving, Halloween and now Christmas.  It even has a matching punch!

I started with a Real Red card base and layered it up with Whisper White embossed using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder - I think it looks like snow!  I added a strip of Red Glimmer paper to add some sparkle to my card.

I stamped my image onto Basic Black Cardstock and used my Scalloped Tag Punch to make it into a tag.  I wanted to use this punch because it is wider then the Note Tag Punch that is a perfect match to the set.

I used the smallest star in the Star Framelit set and used my mini star punch from my Mini Merry Punches set.  I finished my card off with a little ribbon bow.

Be sure to stop on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to see all of the fabulous creations!

Happy Stampin'

Tammy
