Less is More with Can You CASE it!

Hello my stampin' friends!

Really glad you took the time to stop by today!  I have a card to show you that I really adore.  I just love how it turned out!

Of course I had some challenge inspiration - 2 infact!  They are Less is More and Can You CASE it!  Be sure to check out all cards at the fabulous sites!

Over at Less is More, it is a theme challenge....

For our theme this week we have chosen
CONGRATULATIONS!

And, the challenge over at Can you CASE it! is a sketch - I just love sketch challenges!

So......I used my newest favourite stampset, Garden in Bloom! This is such a fun stampset to play with - you just have to give it a try!

My patterned paper is from the English Garden series.  So pretty.  I used the colours in the paper to choose the colours for my card.  Blushing Bride for my card base, Melon Mambo to frame the patterned paper and Mossy Meadow to frame my stamping.

I added 2 colours to my stamping that can also be found in the patterned paper - Old Olive for the inside of the leaves and Mint Macaroon for the butterfly.  The butterfly outline is the ink in full strength, but the inside colour is second generation ink - where you stamp first on a scrap piece of paper and then stamp on your card.

I hope these last few posts have helped you to see how great the Garden in Bloom stampset is.

Happy Stampin'

Tammy

  1. A stunning and very pretty feminine card Tammy but we do like to see a little more 'white space' on our CAS cards at Less is More. Thanks so much for sharing. Sarah (Less is More DT)

    1. Thank you Sarah. As you can tell, white space is a bit hard for me but I will keep that in mind for next time for sure! Glad you took the time to comment on my card and I am glad you like it. Thank you.

  2. Such a lovely card, Tammy. That stamp set has been on my wishlist since I saw the new catalogue, it's so pretty. I love the colours you've used here. As Sarah mentioned, more white space is required at Less is More but thanks so much for sharing with us.
