Happy New Year!

Hello there,

For my final post of 2018, I wanted to participate in two wonderful challenges - Freshly Made Sketches and Sunday Stamps.

Here is my card...

Freshly Made Sketches has a super fun sketch to play along with.  I turned my card base and changed the oval to a square.  I love how it turned out.

Sunday Stamps has a fun colour challenge to play with.  I always struggle a bit when it comes to colour challenges, but these colours are so inspiring.

I used the Playful Pals stampset to capture the colours of the colour challenge.  I just love these little guys.  I stamped him directly onto a stitched shape square and then framed it with one of the scalloped squares from the layering squares framelits.  I coloured him in using the Stampin' Blends.

I chose not to put a greeting onto the front of the card and let the design and image take center stage.

Thank you so much for joining me in my stampin' adventure this year.  I am so thankful for each and every one of you.  I wish you all a very happy and healthy new year.

Happy stampin'

Santa!

Hello there stampers,

I hope you all had a very merry Christmas!  We had a great time celebrating with family and friends.  My family is very lucky because we have 2 weeks off of work and school. So we are really enjoying some quality time.

I have so many more christmas cards I could show you, but I will finish with a super cute Santa card featuring the Signs of Santa stampset and the Buffalo Check Background stamp.

These are two of the most popular stampsets in the holiday catalogue!  The coordinating framelits for the Signs of Santa set were sold out weeks ago, but you can see the stampset is still great to use without them.  My background was created the amazing Buffalo Check Background stamp.  Great news - it will be carried over and will continue to be available!

I coloured Santa using my Stampin' Blends!  They really make my colouring look great!  I also added some Wink of Stella on his pom-pom, beard and mustash.

Here is a group of them that I mailed out to friends and family this year.

Christmas Tags!

Happy Friday!

Can you believe Christmas is only 3 days away!  My house is all ready for Christmas, decorations and lights are up, shopping done, handmade cards have been delivered, wrapping.....well getting there.  I just get so excited and this year is no exception.

Today, I wanted to showcase the tags I will be placing on my presents this year.  I have added them to all of the teacher gifts, co-worker gifts, and will add them to some very special gifts under our tree.

My gift tags are a perfect match to the challenge this week over at TGIF Challenges.  Here are the details....

I used the Alpine Sports Thinlits to create this super cute toboggan.  I cut it out twice, the first time in black and then a second out of Wood-grain DSP  I trimmed away the edges so the black rails could be seen and all that was left was the wodden slats of the toboggan.

I popped it up on mini dimensionals and placed it onto an oval from the Stitched Shapes framelit collection.  I used that all time favourite Buffalo Check Background stamp with Momento Ink on Real Red Cardstock.  I just love the warm feeling of this tag!

The greeting is from the Merry Christmas to All Stampet - another great bundle the Holiday Catalogue has to offer.

Here are a few of them I submitted to a Gift Tag Exchange I participate in every year.  They were a hit!

Merry Christmas,

Tammy

Christmas Cookie Exchange Tags!

Hello stampers,

Did you participate in a cookie exchange this year?  I did and I was so very excited to join the fun!  It was wonderful to spend some time with this group of ladies and share some baking and Christmas cheer!

So this papercrafter HAD to make tags for my cookie packages.  I thought if I made them look really pretty, it wouldn't matter as much that they are simple sugar cookies. ;)

So I used some of my old favourite Christmas DSP with a Pool Party base.

The snowflake is from the Snowfall Thinlits collection that was available in November - If you have it you will know how great it is!  I used the Tailored Tag Punch to create the beautiful top and hole for my twine.

These tags can easily be used for gifts as well.

Another Farm House Christmas.

Hello friends,

I have a quick but classic Christmas card for you today using one of the most popular bundle from the holiday catalogue - Farmhouse Christmas!

This card the sentiment and the shapes are the highlight of the card.  Oh and the colours are a favourite of mine too!

Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Old Olive are a Christmas colour combination to last through the years.  Perfect!

I love this sentiment stamped right onto the stitched circle and the banner framelit that is a part of the framelit set, cutting out the Merry Christmas in the center!  I finished off with some gorgeous Crumb Cake Ribbon.

And of course having a group of the same card makes this stampers heart happy.

Happy Christmas Wishes!

Well hello there!
'
Are you all ready for Christmas?  Getting there?  In the spirit of things I have another Christmas Card to share with you.  I followed along with Case this Sketch number 300

If you would like to play along, here is the sketch...

..and I wanted to join the fun over at The Paper Players - they have a colour challenge this week!

Here is the card I created.

Farmhouse Christmas anyone?!  Oh my gosh, I have been seeing little red pick-up trucks with Christmas trees in them ALL OVER THE PLACE!  I even bought some tea towels for my kitchen this year!

SO, I could not resist using this adorable little stamp from the Farmhouse Christmas Bundle and I used the coordinating framelite to cut it out.  To colour the truck I used my Real Red,  Shaded Spruce, Basic Black and Smokey Slate Stampin' Blends.  I just love the dimension that they give an image.

I popped it up on dimensionals while my greeting was directly on the stitched shaped oval.  I added the little Galvanized Clip to keep the farmhouse them going and finished it off with a little bow.

I made six of these little beauties.

Be sure to stop on over to Case this Sketch and The Paper Players and see all of the wonderful creation made with these challenges in mind.

Nothing Sweeter than Freshly Made Sketches!

Hello my stampin' friends,

I love participating in challenges!  How about you?  One of my favourite challenges, Freshly Made Sketches, is hosting design team call!  SO exciting!  AND they have another amazing sketch for us to play along with.

 Fun, right?

Here is my card to play along.  I just love making Christmas cards, in fact, that is how my  my card making adventure started.

To make this card, I chose to use my favourite bundle from the Holiday Catalogue...Nothing Sweeter!  It was love at first sight.

I used traditional Christmas cookie colours, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Whisper White and Early Espresso.  I absolutely LOVE this stitching that you can create or not create with these adorable little cookies.  I added some heat embossing to create the icing decorations on each.

And finally, making multiples makes my heart happy.  I love seeing them all laid out ready to be delivered.

Be sure to stop on over to Freshly Made Sketches to see all of the wonderful creations made with this sketch.

I love how this card turned out.  I used some Night of Navy cardstock to start things off. I added a Whisper White layer and then some really pretty DSP I have been hording for just the right snowflake dies.  Today is the perfect day to share a snowflake card!

I added the two largest snowflakes from the Snowfall Thinlits Dies that were available for a limited amount of time. I couldn't resist keeping them for my collection.  I added a Night of Navy banner with my sentiment heart embossed in white.

And of course, multiple cards for Christmas!
