Love Card with Global Design Project

Hey there,

So glad you could stop by today!  Happy Monday!

I have a fun card to share with you, one to help prepare for Valentine's day.  I thought I would play along with the challenge over at Global Design Project.  They have a super fun sketch as inspiration.

I opted to flip the sketch a little, with my shape on the left and the trim up the edge instead of at the bottom.  I like how it turned out.  The stitched edge was created using one of the dies from the Stitched Be Mine dies.

The heart was also created using the Stitched Be Mine Dies.  The greeting was cut with the Well Said dies.  Some of my all time favourite as they can be used for so many projects!

Something New with The Paper Players

Hello my stampin' friends,

I decided to play around with the theme challenge with the Paper Players today, who have a challenge for something new!

Have you seen the new Stampin'UP! mini catalogue?  There are SO many new and fun products to get our crafting on!  My card today is made with one of my favourites.   The Painted Poppies Suite!  I just love it.  The designer paper is fabulous!  Each and every patterned paper in the package is beautiful!

I wanted the beautiful paper to be one of the highlights of my card, so used it to fill most of the front.  I cut it out using the Rectangle Stitched Dies to give it a nice finished edge.

The die shapes are also very versatile.  You get both of these labels in one package of dies.  So many possibilities!  The flowers and leaves are also from the same package and coordinate with the stamp set to give some beautiful poppy flowers and leaves.

Don't forget to check out all of the creations made with Something New, over at The Paper Players!

Happy Stampin'

Birthday Wishes with TGIF Challenges!

Happy hump day!

I have another card for you today and this card features a couple of my favourite Sale-a-bration items.  I used the the challenge with TGIF Challenges which features beautiful colours to help me create my card.

Great colours aren't they?  So pretty!  The Lily Impressions DSP is a free product choice  when you spend $60 and has the beautiful purples in it!  I wanted to use this front and center!

Those beautiful lily flowers and lily pads were created using another free product you can earn when you spend $60, a stamp set called Lovely Lily Pad!

The images and raised detail on each of the flowers were die cut using yet another free item you can earn during Sale-a-bration when you spend $120.  They are called Lily Pad Dies.  I love the options that these dies give you with stampset.

I hope you have enjoyed my card.  Be sure to drop on over to the TGIF Challenges to see all of wonderful creations made with this colour challenge in mind.

International Blog Highlights

Image may contain: text

Hello my stampin' friends!

It is time for Kyle Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights.  It is a really fun challenge (so to speak) where Kylie provides a theme and you submit a project and people vote for their favourtie!  The top 10 projects get to participate in an international Blog Hop closer to the end of the month.  I am so excited to be participating this month and I am excited for you to see my project.

I focused on the Poppies suite in the new Mini catalogue - it is extremely beautiful and full of possibilities!  The theme for the Blog Highlight is Thank you.  I love this theme, because you can't have enough thank you cards in your stash and these beautiful products are perfect for a thank you card!

My focus was on the Painted Poppies bundle and the beautiful DSP that comes in the suite.  I just love every piece of paper in it!

I used my stitched rectangle dies to frame my layers of Pool Party and the DSP.  It adds a nice touch.  The layers that the greeting are on are dies from the bundle as well!  I love having some extra ways to frame a greeting.

I hope you have enjoyed my card and will vote for me!  You can do that right here.

Time to Sale-a-Brate!

Hello again!

Today is the day that Sale-a-bration starts.  I can't help but want to share the best deal available during Sale-a-bration....the Starter Kit!

Deciding to purchase the Stampin' Up
Starter Kit is an exciting decision!

During Sale A Bration 2020, you get quite a bit for the $135 price tag
1. Choose $165 in product from the Annual or Spring catalog
2. Free Mini Trimmer
3. Free Designer Series paper sample pack (see photo above)
4. One more stamp set of your choice!( Go ahead, pick the most expensive set on your wishlist!)
5. Free Shipping!!

Did you know that when you purchase the Starter Kit, you actually earn a 20% discount off EVERY purchase for the next 3 months? In fact, it's actually longer than three months. If you purchase the Starter Kit in January, you actually have until the end of June to take full advantage of that discount on all Stampin' Up products!

What’s In A Starter Kit?
Anything you want! Yes, REALLY! For just $135 (FREE SHIPPING too!!) you choose up to $165 of ANYTHING in the Spring Catalog, Annual Catalog or even off the Clearance Rack! Plus, as I mentioned above, you get the Mini Trimmer, DSP Sample Pack and one more stamp set of your choice.

What’s the Catch?
There is NO catch! I know, sometimes, we think there is something hidden that we don't find out until after we purchase the kit. But here, truly there is no catch! The only requirement to remain an active Demo is a quarterly minimum. And as a new Demo, you actually have until the following quarter to meet it (June 30!) And what if you don't meet it? You just become a customer again and lose the discount. That's it! But, I have a feeling you will love the benefits so much that you will never want to let that happen!

Do I have to have a blog, make videos or hold classes?
Nope. Again, this is what you want it to be. If you want to purchase the Starter Kit just to enjoy the discount- great! You are what I like to think of as a “preferred customer.” You get all the benefits but don’t have to actually run a business. But, if you want to run a business, you can! And I’m here to help guide you with that if you want.

What Are the Benefits?
The biggest benefit, in my opinion, is that you become a Stampers Inkspired team member! That's the name of my team and we are growing! Some of my team have chosen to make a business out of their Starter Kit and many have chosen to support their hobby with a discount. I welcome ALL new demos to my team regardless of why they purchase the Starter Kit.

Official List of Benefits:
  • 20% discount
  • Potential to earn up to 38% of your sales
  • Early and exclusive access to new products
  • Opportunity to earn free product through various incentives
  • Qualify for cash bonuses, free product, incentive trips and more

If you choose to purchase your kit through me, there are even more added benefits.
  • You will be a part of my Stampers Inkspired Community and will be invited to join our facebook private group.
  • Continual support from me.  I am available to inspire you, encourage you and help you when ever and however you need!
  • Free Tutorial PDFs - my downline get my Tutorial PDFs for free every single month! You can use them for your own crafting or as a class of your own!
  • Team recognition and incentives- PRIZES! I reward for promotions and sales and occasionally we have recruiting contests.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Happy new year my Stampin' friends!

I hope you were all able to enjoy a wonderful holiday season filled with love, family, friends and good cheer.  I think 2020 is going to be an amazing year and I am so excited to get started!

What better way to start the new year than to have a hop around with my blogging friends.  We have a wonderful theme - Can you Feel the Love tonight!  There are some super cute love products in the new mini catalogue that also goes live today, but I have chosen to focus on some of my favourtie love products in the annual catalouge.  Can you guess which ones?

valentine making stamp set

RIDE WITH ME PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

STITCHED BE MINE DIES

And here is the card I made.  I just love how it turned out.

I couldn't resist using this super ultra cute pick-up truck and colouring him Real Red with my Stampin' Blends.  I used Basic Grey for the bumper, hub caps, door handle and the running board (the place to put your foot to get in).  I used Basic Black to colour the tires and a tiny bit of Daffodil Delight for the headlight.  Don't forget to stamp it in Memento Ink so your colours don't bleed.  I also stamped my greeting in Memento which came from the Meant to Be Stampset.

I used only one die from the Stitched Be Mine set and that is the cloud of hearts.  I love it!  You can get all of these tiny, but different sized hearts, and wanted to use them to float out of the back to the truck.  I have some Real Red and some Melon Mambo hearts.  I cut the bottoms off of a few of the large ones to give the impression of them being in the back of the truck.  I attached them with glue dots to make quick work of getting them onto my card front.

I didn't wanted to waste the heart cloud outline and so cut out three more in Real Red to create the extra layer on the Whisper White to add interest.  In the end only some of the heart outlines peek out, which I like.

I hope you enjoyed my card.  Be sure to hop on through and see all of the wonderful creations that were made using the love theme we have for you!

Happy Stampin'
