Merry Christmas with Freshly Made Sketches!

Hello,

I hope you had a nice weekend, all refreshed and ready for a new week!  Our weather here in Southern Ontario, was not great - it is already starting to have that fall weather feel - ugh!

Anyway, to help with that fall weather feeling, I decided to create a Christmas card for the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches...this challenge is #149

Every year, I promise my card class ladies that they will have 20 handmade cards to give out at Christmas time.  And so, I always start in August - yes August!

It makes Christmas time a touch less stressful - and they get to cross something off of their long list of things to do!

So I decided to use a very special favourite stampset and it's coordinating framelit from last year - can you guess which one?  Yep, the Festive Flurey.  The stampset is still available but only until August 27th!

Here is my card...

I hope you enjoyed my card.

Winter Card with Stampin' Royalty!

Hello there my Stampin' friends,

Have you been over to Stampin' Royalty lately?  Such a fun challenge this week - you guessed it a Winter card!

I just love this colour combo - it isn't often you can say the words Pool Party and Chirstmas all in the same sentence here in Canada and in a snow belt to boot!  But today I can!

I started with the fabulous Designer Series Paper Stack out of the Holiday catalogue (my jumping off point), then added some Pool Party cardstock and ink, used my FAVOURITE bundle from the Holiday Catalogue (Festive Flurry - stamp set and framelits to match), a Pool Party snowflake in small and then a glitter snowflake the next size up.  I added some great silver ribbon and a rhinestone!  Voila!  Beautiful card.

I sold a ton of these at my last craft show!  What do you think?

Supplies I used...

More Merry Messages Stamp Set
Festive Flurries Bundle (Stamp Set and matching Framelits)
Big Shot
Pool Party Ink and Cardstock
Smokey Slate Cardstock
Designer Series Paper
Glitter Paper
Rhinestones
Silver Ribbon

Freshly Made Sketches #108 (FMS #108) and Color Me Christmas

Hey there my Stampin' friends!

Glad you were able to stop by today.  I wanted to give you a sneak peak at the card I am going to make with my card class friends at my next Christmas card class!

I had a request from one of my friends to do a card with some colouring - so what better stamp set than the new Color Me Christmas, from the new Seasonal Catalogue!

I just love these little characters!  There are 5 in all.  Click on the catalogue on the left of my blog and get a direct link to the pages inside!

I chose to use the present image for the sample, but there is a Santa, Rudolf, a Christmas tree and a stocking - perfect!

I also used my favorite embossing folder ....the fab chevron!  As well as the carry over stampset More Merry Messages!  If you have trouble with what to say inside a card - this set is for you!  There are 10 stamps in this set!

Well, here is my card.

The supplies I used are....

Color Me Christmas Stamp Set
More Merry Messages Stamp Set
Whisper White Cardstock
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
Old Olive Cardstock
