Birthday Wishes with TGIF Challenges!

Happy hump day!

I have another card for you today and this card features a couple of my favourite Sale-a-bration items.  I used the the challenge with TGIF Challenges which features beautiful colours to help me create my card.

Great colours aren't they?  So pretty!  The Lily Impressions DSP is a free product choice  when you spend $60 and has the beautiful purples in it!  I wanted to use this front and center!

Those beautiful lily flowers and lily pads were created using another free product you can earn when you spend $60, a stamp set called Lovely Lily Pad!

The images and raised detail on each of the flowers were die cut using yet another free item you can earn during Sale-a-bration when you spend $120.  They are called Lily Pad Dies.  I love the options that these dies give you with stampset.

I hope you have enjoyed my card.  Be sure to drop on over to the TGIF Challenges to see all of wonderful creations made with this colour challenge in mind.

Happy Stampin'

Ride with Me to Seize the Birthday!

HI there!

Thank you for joining me on this beautiful fall day!  Today is another fabulous day with lots of beautiful colours in the trees.  This is a busy week for me as I am preparing for a very large Christmas card class.  Stay tuned for some pictures later this week!

But first, let's pay along with the birthday challenge over at Seize the Birthday!  It's a kids Birthday theme.  Super fun!

I have been loving the Ride with Me Bundle, most particularly, the stampset.  I just LOVE the old style pick-up truck and all of the little accessories that you can'put' inside the back.

On this birthday card, I used the balloons - perfect for a kids birthday.  I used bright colours to colour them in.

Although I love using my blends to colour, I decided to use them just to highlight some accents on the truck.  I stamped the truck in Daffodil Delight onto Daffodil Delight cardstock, then I used my blends to accent in a few places. Have you tried using bends on coloured cardstock?  It is a little different in that the colour really soaks in, but I love the subtle effect.

Be sure to stop on over to Seize the Birthday to see all of the wonderful creations using this theme!

Birthday Succulents

Hello there!

Thanks for stopping by.  I have a great card to share with you that I created with the sketch challenge over at CAS(E) this Sketch!

I decided to use some of my left over Painted Seasons DSP that I earned for FREE during sale-a-bration as well as the coordinating succulent image from the Painted Seasons Stampset I also earned for FREE.

I took the sketch and turned it on it's side to create this card.  I just liked the way the sentiment fit better.  :)

Speaking of the sentiment, I used the other stampset I got for free called More than Words.  If you have these in your collection, remember to use them, they are still fabulous!

I just love how this card turned out.  My birthday recipient I am sure will enjoy it too.  Be sure to hop on over to CAS(E) this Sketch! to see all of the other cards designed with this sketch.

Happy Stampin'
