Happy New Year! Welcome 2018!
I am so excited to see what this year will bring. Today, the first of the month, always brings a new blog hop with my Blogging Friends - I love the first of the month because I LOVE seeing what they create! And, to help ring in the new year, we have a new look for our blog hop! What do you think?
The theme this month is "Baby, It'scold Outside". There couldn't be a better theme for us here in Ontario, Canada. We have been having extreme cold weather alerts for most of the last week. Like, I'm talking -38 celcius with the wind chill. It has been a great time to get crafty inside, but who really needs a reason.
Here is a picture of what it looks like outside my front door..
So, the real reason you stopped by..here are the projects I made for the blog hop with this month's theme in mind.
I created a card using the very popular Eclipse Technique as well as a matching gift bag with my Gift Bag Punch Board. I love how cute they turned out to be!
My card base is Night of Navy and the layter on top is a patterned DSP from the Coffee Break DSP pack from the Annual Catalogue. I used the snowflakes from the Snowflake Sentiments stampset to stamp directly onto the patterned DSP usin the Night of Navy and Marina MIst Inks. I also die cut some Whisper White Snowflakes from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits and added them to the front along with some glitter rhinestones for the center of the snowflakes.
The gift bag was created using the same stamping and die cut snowflakes. I used the Gift Bag Punch Board to create the bag. I then used snowflake border die to create a bag topper. I also created a little tag another great die from the Swirly Snowflake thinlits
I really love this bundle! It was the first thing in the Holiday Catalogue that I knew I had to have! I am so happy the products are being continued, but if you are a bargain shopper, you will want to get the bundle before January 3rd, the bundle price is not being carried over, just the products individually. You can order the bundle to save 10% at my online store here.
Thanks for stopping by. I would love to hear from you, go ahead and leave a comment.
Be sure to hop on through all of the blogs to see the great projects they created to share through the list at the bottom of the post or use the 'next' or 'previous' buttons below.

This is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lynn!
DeleteGreat projects, Tammy!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anna! They were fun to create.
DeleteTammy, I really loved how you offset the letters on your card. I always line mine up straight but this gives it a fun feel to it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Michelle! It was the only way I could get all the letters to fit. lol Sometimes my mistakes take me outside of my comfort zone and then they become my favourites.
DeleteWhat a beautiful scene outside your front door, Tammy! I imagine that is what mine will look like tomorrow with another 8-12" of snow on the way in New England! Love your cards and the combination of all the blues - it does look just like winter. Happy New Year! XO, Crystal
ReplyDeleteThank you Crystal! It looks pretty out there, but not much fun to drive in. Good luck with your weather tomorrow. Happy New Year!
