June 2019 Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Hello there my stampin' friends,

Welcome to the very first blog hop of the new annual catalogue!  I am so very excited to show you the new products I decided to showcase.

I chose to showcase the very first thing I purchased from the new catalogue....Free as a Bird Bundle.  I know there have already been some amazing projects using these two great products, but I am hoping to give you just one more reason to NEED this bundle in your collection!

Here is my card.

I love that this bundle can be used with any of your favourite colour combination and one that I love, Is  Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake!

I started with a Crumb Cake card base, then a layer of Balmy Blue dry embossed using the Basket Weave and then a layer of Vellum Cardstock.

I used the Stitcehd Nested Labels Dies to layer 2 different sizes - they are stitched!! and these beauties stitch on both the positive and negative space.  I stamped the images on a scrap of Whisper white using Momento ink which works well with the Stampin' Blends.

The colours of Stampin' Blends I used was Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Cumb Cake and Daffodil Delight.

Then I fussy cut the images to be able to pop them up onto the Nested Dies.  Before I adhered any of the images, I stamped the greeting using Momento as well as I stamped the bird a second time so that I didn't have to fussy cut his legs and feet!  lol

I added all of the images with dimensionals and adhered the Whisper White Nested Label directly onto the Crumb Cake Label. I wrapped some Braided Linen Trim around the center and poped the whole centerpiece up onto dimesionals.  Finally, I added a bow.

I hope you liked my card.  As I look at it now, I think I could have added some colour to the ground under the blue bird's feet.  I will add it after I type this post. lol

Be sure to hop all around and see what my Blogging Friends have created.

Happy Stampin'

Tammy

  2. Tammy this is such a beautiful card. Love the colours you have chosen. I think this is going to be a very popular stamp set (it was the first one I bought as well).
