Hello everyone,
Happy Thursday! Well, here in my little town in Ontario Canada, we woke up to white grass! Yep, snow on the ground. It was gone by lunch time, but, we are slated to get more next week! I sure hope they are wrong. It is nice to get out into the yard these days when we are spending so much time at home. That will just mean more crafting.
Are you ready for Easter? We are here at the Gill house. Our Premier (head of Ontario) has announced that the Easter Bunny is an essential service! Which means that he can still conduct his business of delivering treats and eggs to all of the houses this year. WHEW! That was a close one!
So wanted to share some super cute Easter cards that I made with the Easter Bunny in mind.
I thought this also lent to the theme over at The Paper Players! They have a fun theme of A Day at the Zoo. I know our Zoo has bunnies, so thought I would play along.
I used the really cute stampset, Fable Friends. That bunny is perfect for an Easter Card. I love colouring him in.
For my first card, I coloured him in using Basic Grey and his coat in Old Olive. Flirty Flamingo for his ears.
My second card is exactly the same layout and tools, I just changed the colours to match my DSP. This one was for a girl so added some pretty paper and colours.
This bunny was stamped and colour on Very Vanilla and my colours bled a little, but l liked the softness so kept going with it.
These colours are Crumb Cake and Calypso Coral and Flirty Flamingo for her ears.
Loved the way they turned out, one more masculine and one more feminine.
Be sure to stop on over to The Paper Players and see all of the fun projects made with A Day at the Zoo in mind.
Happy Easter! Stay healthy and safe,
Tammy
