Hey, hey!  

It's time for another Blogging Friends Blog Hop!  this month's theme is Summer Wow cards!  I think I have one to fit that theme. 

My card features the Sweet As A Peach Bundle - a favourite of many in the annual catalogue!  

As well as one of my all time favourite the Scalloped Contour Dies.

Part of my WOW in this card is the fancy fold and gift card holder element to this card.  So instead of scoring the cardbase in half, it is scored at 2 1/2" and 6 1/2" on the long side, this will create a little pocket on the inside.

Of course, is is a nice surprise to decorate the inside, so another Scalloped Contour Die for the pocket and you can slip a gift card in there too.

Welcoming the New Cherishing the Old

 

Hey everyone,

So glad you stopped by today!  I am participating in a blog hop with some fellow demonstrators who have some goals in mind and some amazing projects to share.

We are all featuring a new product from the new catalgoue, cherishing a retiring product and featuring a new In-Colour.  There is so much inspiration here and I am so happy to be a part of it!

It wasn't hard for me to choose any of the products for this card.  I simply LOVE the Playful Alphabet dies - continuing product (if you are a scrapbooker you need these), I can't stop using the Contour scalloped Dies - new product and I will greatly miss the Ride the Range dies.  :(  They may just stay in my forever collection.  I live in a very rural area where farms are plentiful. 

My In-colour of choice for this card, is the Evening Evergreen.  It is such a deep rich green.  I think it will be really popular at Christmas time.

Oh and that tiny little heart inside the windmill, is from the Give it a Whirl dies.  Stitched hearts - yes please!  

If you are looking for a trendy new neighbour card, this is a good one to give a try.

Happy Father's Day Card

 So are you ready for Father's day? Or need an idea for a male inspired card?

I have one for you today!

Using the colour challenge over at Paper Craft Crew Challenges. 

I have a house full of boys and so when I saw the Handsomely Suited Bundle in the spring catalgoue, I just knew I had to have it!  The card I am sharing today is about the 7th different styled cards I have made with this bundle.  You can see the other cards I have made with this bundle here. 

Today's card matches the colour challenge, using Basic Black, Basic White, Basic Grey and blue with the Well Suited DSP.

Don't you just love these little bow ties?!  They are so cute.  I love that you can pop up that center when you use the DSP.  I framed them using the Scalloped Contour dies.

Handsomely Suited Father's Day

 Hello and happy Monday,

I hope you had a great weekend.  It was hot here again - well hot for Ontario, it felt like 36 degrees.  That is hot enough for me.

Do you have your Father's Day cards ready yet? June is such a busy month in this house with 3 birthdays, Father's Day and this year 2 graduations!  It needed to work way ahead.  ;)

Here is one of the cards I made for Father's day, I want to submit for the challenge over at TGIF Challenges.

If you are like me and need ideas for male style cards, you will want to get the Handsomely Suited bundle from the Mini Catalogue.  That is what I used for my card today.

I just love the ties these dies provide, a great neck tie with 2 patterns in the stamps as well as 2 bow tie style dies.  Super cute!  

I used the Well Suited DSP pack to help with choosing the colours I used.  Night of Navy, Basic White and Basic Grey.  I used my Stampin' Blends to colour these ties.  

I framed these ties using the Scalloped Contour Dies from the new Annual Catalgoue.

Creative Stampers Tutorial Blog Hop

  May 2021 Creative Stampers Tutorial Blog Hop 

Hey there!  It is time for another Creative Stampers Tutorial Blog Hop!  This tutorial features project created by 11 amazing Stampin'UP! demonstrators from around the world featuring projects male products just in time for fathers day!

Each tutorial includes full colour photos, measurements in both imperial and metric and and a product list.

Today, each of us will be sharing a second project using the same products we used to create the project in the tutorial.

I can't share the tutorial project, but I can share a second project featuring the Handsomely Suited bundle. **Warning proud mama moment ahead.**

Two of my sons are graduating this spring and I couldn't be more proud!  So what is a crafty mom to do, but make special cards to celebrate and the Handsomely Suited Bundle was the perfect tools to create them. I followed Tami White's amazing Youtube Video to help create them.  You can see it here.

This graduation card is for my middle son who is graduating high school.  I can't believe it!  I am not sure how the time goes so fast.  I am so excited for him and his next adventure - off to college in September.  

This next graduation card is for my oldest who is graduating University!  I don't know how I am old enough to have a university graduate, but I couldn't be prouder of him.  His plan is to work for a year and then complete his Masters in Social Work - he has dreams of making the world a better place.  ;)
