 Hey there stampers,

So glad you could join me for the first of the month Blogging Friends blog hop.  If you haven't been to my blog before, welcome to Canada!  So happy you are here!

This month's blog hop is featuring our favourite retiring products! Let me tell you, I have a lot of favourites retiring.  It was SO hard to choose.

I decided to focus on a couple of items that I will be keeping in my stash for quite sometime.  They are Something for Baby Stampset and Baby's First Framelits.

Baby's First Framelits DiesSomething for Baby Clear-Mount Stamp Set

A few week's ago I made a baby card for a lady at work.  We had a little pool going where we could sign up for a date and time and gender of the baby.  I guessed a baby boy with an early delivery.  Wrong and wrong.  A beautiful little girl was born but after expected.  So, I get to make another welcome baby card and this time for a girl!  Here is my card...
I used the onsie framelit on the front of the card....
and the stampset on the inside.  I also used the Stitched Thinlits to decorate the front of the card and my greeting is from my favourite, Teeny Tiny Wishes. The verse on the inside of this card is currently reitred and called Cuddles and Kisses.  Another great one to keep in a collection.

Be sure to stop in and see all of the creations made using upcoming retiring products by clicking on each of the names in the list below or simply click on the picture below.

Remember if there is a retiring product you would like, don't wait, some items are already sold out.

Teeny Tiny Wishes with Mojo Monday

Hey there,

So glad you stopped by!  I have another card for your today using another awesome sketch from Mojo Monday!

and here is the sketch.  How did I do?

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnGFVXHFeySzgGGTl-SAsRQvbTdz3ZW056fPswQWOwwyYzZhfgtEdUKgMJf-2KLt3gVYntIq_2XVLoCFkgIJNMcT-vVcjJXMQvklJ4QR_81Mg2iXgHPoom1TDTUCPZq2dc79u9retgMGKN/s1600/mojo494.gif

I love all of the layers in this sketch! It allowed me to use a DSP with a large pattern and still be able to see it behind the layers.

I used the Garden in Bloom stampset to create this little butterfly.  I used the 2 step stamping to give it some dimension - this set is awesome for that.  My greeting from the set Teeny Tiny Wishes - can't live without this set - 48 sentiments!  I chose Happy Retirement as this card is earmarked for my friend who is retiring in June. Lucky girl.

Thanks for stopping by.  Be sure to hop on over the Mojo Monday to see all of the fabulous creations made with this sketch in mind.

Happy Stampin'

Happy Birthday with Paper Players

Hello everyone,

Just a quick post to share a card from my most recent card class. I used the awesome sketch over at The Paper Players - sketch #341! I loved this sketch!

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2_pH1W0UEq9cgn8GDWfUxuY7DHugGiVBwWPZNsu5wgACOpTjFFGYzg6Oqb8-k87sVSCsD705QafOsGJ0e9UvtfVt1mnyqxJGkqVFqlSIf9dfnzoov4WprCo12UoF27Mj-LJaXHtE0XA/s1600/pp341.jpg

This was the perfect addition to my card class.

Here is the card I came up with....

What I like most about this card is how easy it is create, thanks to the great sketch.  You could make dozens of these - and all different colours and patterns too!  I also love this patterned paper.  It is retiring on May 31.  If you love these patterns, get this pack before it is gone.  It is called Succulent Garden.

Be sure to stop in at The Paper Players and see all of the great cards created using this sketch as inspiration

Thanks for joining me.

Easter with Roger's Daytime TV!

Hey there my stampin' friends,

All ready for Easter?  Well, I am mostly there - lol.

But, I do have some Easter projects to show you to help get you into the hopping mood.  These are pictures from my visit to see my friends at Roger's Daytime TV in Barrie.  As always, I had a blast and for an extra surprise, I will be featured on 2 of their upcoming shows.  Yeah!

Here are my projects....

This is a picture of my whole display.
I created a show box with an Easter banner
A card (using my current favourite DSP) with some treat bags decorated for Easter Fun.
I created actual Easter baskets with space inside for treats or an Easter Egg.
Some 3-D carrots full of Easter Goodies

I made a belly band for a small box of Easter Chocolates

You can see 2 of the cards I made. We also made both live on air!

Another treat bag with a super cute tag!  I also stamped right onto the bottom of the bag - took a few minutes to dry, but turned out great!

And finally another picture of my whole display.  I had a lot of fun making this projects and was a real treat to share them with my friends in TV land.

Oh and how could I forget, I also got to meet a Harlem Glob Trotter!  Oh the joys of being a celebrity - lol!

Happy Easter everyone.

Retired List is HERE - pictures from OnStage Toronto

Demo_ShareableTH_RetiringProducts_NA
Hello Stampers,

I has been a VERY busy few days of stampin' fun for me and many other demonstrators across the globe!  Over the weekend, some of us attended local OnStage event where we were spoiled rotten! I have some picture of my fun time later in the post, but first, I want you to be some of the first to see the retired list that has been published!  Yes, it's time to say goodbye to some of our favourites to make way for some new fun (and trust me you will love them) stampin' products.
To see the list in Canadian funds, I have attached the sort able excel spreedsheet! You can find that here!
Be sure to notice all the of the bundles that are retiring - hint, the products may still appear in the catalogue, but won't be the bundle price - this is when I like to stock up on my favourites to get them cheaper.
Also, if you LOVE the in-clours that are retiring - get them while you can, they will sell out fast!

2015-2017 In Color Classic Stampin' Pads
Now, let me share with you some of the fun photos from OnStage, Toronto!

There were lots of people with 2 very large screens where we were able to see the vidoes of the Global OnStage as well as the live demonstrations of the new products.

Stampin'UP! is celebrating 15 years in Canada - so a few extra gifts for us!
Some generous presents from my upline and her upline.
Here is a picture of almost my whole stash!  We each got an awesome bag, a really nice planner, some post-it notes and a name tag.  The only thing missing is the 5 brand new stampsets from the upcoming catalogue I won!  Yahoo!

Be sure to stop by tomorrow to see the projects I created for my apprearance on Roger's TV Daytime to celebrate Easter!

Happy Stampin'
