Easter with Roger's Daytime TV!

Hey there my stampin' friends,

All ready for Easter?  Well, I am mostly there - lol.

But, I do have some Easter projects to show you to help get you into the hopping mood.  These are pictures from my visit to see my friends at Roger's Daytime TV in Barrie.  As always, I had a blast and for an extra surprise, I will be featured on 2 of their upcoming shows.  Yeah!

Here are my projects....

This is a picture of my whole display.
I created a show box with an Easter banner
A card (using my current favourite DSP) with some treat bags decorated for Easter Fun.
I created actual Easter baskets with space inside for treats or an Easter Egg.
Some 3-D carrots full of Easter Goodies

I made a belly band for a small box of Easter Chocolates

You can see 2 of the cards I made. We also made both live on air!

Another treat bag with a super cute tag!  I also stamped right onto the bottom of the bag - took a few minutes to dry, but turned out great!

And finally another picture of my whole display.  I had a lot of fun making this projects and was a real treat to share them with my friends in TV land.

Oh and how could I forget, I also got to meet a Harlem Glob Trotter!  Oh the joys of being a celebrity - lol!

Happy Easter everyone.

Curtain Call of Rainbows!

Hello there,

So glad you could stop by today.

I have a fun card that I made for a really fun challenge over at Curtain Call!

Their Challenge is Rainbow - perfect for spring!

Here is the card that I made....

I combined an Easter card with the Rainbow theme - I really LOVE how it turned out.

I used one of my favourite stampsets, Work of Art!  There are just SO many uses for this stampset.  Truly..... a work of art!  :)

My greeting is from the Easter Lamb stamp and my little flowers were made using the Petite Petals Punch.

Be sure to 'hop' on over to Curtain Call to see all of the wonderful creations.

Happy Stampin'

Easter with Roger's Daytime

Hello my stampin friends,

I have some fun Easter projects to share with your today.  I recently visited my friends at Roger's TV, Daytime!  We made some really cute Easter projects.

My first picture is of my whole display that I brought for the show.  I always like to display all of the projects that I made.

Here is a close up of one of my Easter cards that I made using the Schoolhouse DSP pack, Festive Flower Punch, Friends and Floral Stampset as well as the greeting on the bottom of the Easter Lamb Stamp.

The other two projects in the picture below are using the Paper Pals stampset and Pyramid Pal Thinlits and coordinating Playful Pals stampset.  I made an Easter Bunny as well as a carrot!  I just LOVE how these little guys turned out.  They perfectly hold about six little chocolate eggs - perfect for co-workers, nieces, nephews and neighbours.  I will make a few of these little guys to give away this weekend.

Here is a close up of an Easter scrapbook page I made for the show.  I used the new Sunburt Thinlit, the Tree Builder Punch, Ovals Thinlits, Fringe Scissors and the Easter Lamb Stamp.

Here is a close up of another one of the Easter cards I made for the show and will have my card class attendees make as one of their Easter cards.  It's so soft and pretty.  Again, DSP is from the Schoolhouse DSP pack.  I used my blender pens to give just a hint of colour to the grass and the ears and cheeks of this little Easter Lamb.

Oh, and my final little pyramid pal! I think he is my favourite!  A cute little frog - perfect for my boys.  An Easter frog? hmmm.....

Here is a another look at the little Easter Bunny.  (We were able to make him live on air!)

...and I couldn't resist a little honeycomb tail.

One final look at my whole display.

Here is a look behind the scenes.  This is what I see when it's not my turn to be live on camera and when the hosts are with another guest.

It is just so much fun!  I have a question about if we can view some of the footage.  If you are a Roger's customer, go to this link..http://www.rogerstv.com/show?lid=12&rid=23&sid=5754  you can view this show.  It originally aired on March 14th.

Easter with Roger's Daytime TV!

Hi there!

Happy Easter to you all!  We have a busy weekend planned with lots of visiting with family and friends and hopefully a visit from the Easter bunny, too!

I had promised to show you some pictures of my Easter show on Daytime, Roger's TV where I made lots of Easter projects perfect for sharing.  The first picture is one of my whole display for the show - it shows all of the things I had made, including the Easter cards I have had in my most recent posts.  Why not bring them along for our TV viewers, right?

The next picture is one of my favourite items I made for display!  I used some of the fabulous Chalkboard paper and Ink to make an Easter display picture frame.  I added an Easter bunny bum made from my Circles and Ovals framelits.  I just loved how it turned out!

My next project is some decorated chocolate Easter pops.  When I saw them in my local bulk food store, I liked their size and thought they would be a perfect treat all decorated up - Stampin'UP! style ;)  I used my Banner Framelits, my For Peeps' Sake stampset and my Stampin' Write Markers to add an Easter message.  Finally, I added some of our beautiful Stampin'UP! ribbon.

The next three pictures are of some treats I made using the inspiration from my creative idol, Erica Cerwin!  Not often can I find the same treats as I see online from the US, and when I found these little Easter Egg Gum packs, I knew I just had to make them!  Be sure to check Erica's out here.

My next little treat holder I made using the 4 x 6 Cello bags in the Annual Catalogue, my Ovals Framelits as well as the new Flower Medallion Punch from the Occasions Catalogue.  The stampset is again, For Peeps' Sake!

And finally, last but not least - the fabulous and new Berry Basket Die from the Occasions Catalogue!  My oh my!  This is definitely one for the collection for sure!  It is the perfect size and the cutest throw back to summer time days from my childhood - picking strawberries to make jam with my mom, brother and sister!  Love, love, love it!  AND if that weren't enough for me to HAVE to have it - it makes a PERFECT Easter basket!

I decorated it using the Flower Medallion and the matching Petal Potpourri Stampset (which you can bundle to save 15%)

Well, I hope you enjoyed my Easter display and treats.

Thank you for stopping in.  Happy Easter to you!

For Peeps' Sake!

Hello my stampin' Friends!

I hope your weekend is going well!  In my house, this weekend is met with mixed feelings.....it was the last of the kids hockey ice times yesterday!  On one hand it feels so refreshing to have much more free time on our social calendar.  But on the other hand , we know that it will be a few months before we see some of our hockey friends again.  I am very sure it will be just a few days before I hear one of my boys say ' I REALLY miss hockey'!

Well, you stopped by to see what I have created today, so........I had Easter on my mind and the cute For Peeps' Sake! stampset on my table!  I wanted to try a bit of a different layout that I saw somewhere on line - I think Pinterest - don't you just LOVE Pinterest?

I found a great pattern in my DSP pack from Halloween, yep, Halloween! which then gave me the colour of card base.  I chose the other colours for my card by looking at the colour family that the orange came from - easy right?

For Peeps's Sake! is the perfect stampset to use your Stampin' Write Markers to colour the images.  For my little chick, I colour in his beak and eyes after he was on the paper.

My greeting was stamped and then punch with the Modern Label Punch.  I then punched a second in yellow and cut it in half to make my frame - my little magic trick ;)

Any finally, I added some ribbon - voila!  A card is created!

Here is my card.....

Stay tuned later this week, I will be showing you some of my Easter projects I made for my Roger's Daytime TV Easter show.

Easter with Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

Hello my stampin' friends!

I have another Easter card for you today!  Are you ready?  I know I still have some work to do with treats and cards and I will also be participating in an Easter themed show on Roger's Daytime TV!  Stay tuned for some more details on my projects for the show!

So the challenge over at Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge is based on a really cute picture involving Jelly Beans! Don't they just say Easter?

Here is the picture that has inspired our projects....

Aren't the colours great!  Here is the card I created with the challenge as inspiration....

The little sunshine patterned paper is from the Sweet Dreams DSP pack in the Occasions catalogueI used my new fringe scissors to make the grass and my Extra Large Oval punch to make the Jelly Beans or Easter Eggs.  The stampsets I used are Four Frames and Teeny Tiny Wishes.

I hope you like my card.

Happy Easter Bunny for Freshly Made Sketches!

Hello there,

I have a card to show you that I made using the design challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches!  Be sure to pop on over and check out all of the designs - they are lovely!

I wanted to make an Easter card - it is coming up fast!  And the perfect stamp for this design was perfect for the Happy Easter Bunny Stamp that is in the Occasions Catalogue!

I used my Oval Framelits to cut it out and make a nice border.

I used my Subtles DSP stack for my patterned paper and some Whisteria Wonder cardstock that I used  my Scalloped Edge Border Punch to spruce it up!

Here is my card - picture isn't great.  But in real life, the card is pretty cute!
