Happy October 1st!
Whew, it has been a busy couple of weeks at the Gill house. Hockey has officially started and this past weekend was a huge festival in our little township. I participated in a Harvest Market where I sold some of my cards and crafts. I will share some pictures later this week.
But today, I want to share with you my blog hop project for the Anything Goes theme we have this month for our Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
Fall is under way here in Ontario with beautiful fall leaves starting to appear in the trees and so I wanted to create some fall inspired cards to sell in the Harvest Market. Here is one of the cards...
This is a fairly simple card, but I just love it! I started with an Early Espresso Card base, then layered it with a sheet of Woodgrain Texture DSP.
I then punched 3 'yellow daisies' using the Daisy Punch to create a sunflower. I added an Early Espresso center using the 1" circle punch. The leaf was cut using the Lemon Builder Punch and Old Olive cardstock.

My greeting is from the Country Home stampset.
This card didn't last long at the market. I am happy someone else loved it as much as me!
Be sure to hop on trough the stops of our Blog Hop to see all of the projects that are in store for you.

ReplyDeleteTammy, I love that you are selling cards in a "Harvest Market," it sounds so quaint and festive. I hope you have had good luck doing so and that others will cherish your creations.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to miss seeing you all monthly and I wish nothing but the best for each and everyone of my hop friends. I'm grateful for the three years we had together, which I think is pretty darn good and I hope Rick continues on! XO, Crystal
