Blogging Friends Blog Hop - Favourite Stampset!

Hello my hopping friends.

We have another fantastic hop for you this month!  We are hopping around to see everyone's all time favourite stampset - it can be current and from the annual catalogue or occasions catalogue or even retired! So many choices - think you could choose?

For my share today, I decided to show you my favourite from the current annual catalogue.  When this year's annual catalogue first came out, this stampset was the very first stampset that I wanted! The card in the catalogue completely sold me on this set!  SO much so that I totally cased it.  You can see that post here.

Which stampset is it you ask?  It is Garden in Bloom!

I LOVE the watercolour look that this stamset creates.  I love that you can create two different kinds of flowers, a cute little butterfly and the most precious little bumble bee!  Oh and that sentiment "Friends are kind to each other's hopes & cherrish each other's dreams"  I have three besties that are the exact definition of that statement - how lucky am I?!

Here is my card I made for this hop using the Garden in Bloom stamspet....
I unfortunately needed a sympathy card for a lady at work who recently lost her mother. I immediately thought the large flower was a great focal point.  My greeting is from the stampset Thoughts and Prayers.  It has the most perfect sentiments and greetings for someone who is grieving.

Thanks for hopping by!  Be sure to hop on through to all the stops.  There are some really great projects to be seen!

Next up is Rick Adkins.  You can click the icon below OR click on his name in the list at the bottom of the post.

Happy hopping!

Curtian Call with Sprinkles!

Glad you have stopped by today.  I have a new card for you using - guess what - Sprinkles of Life!  I hope I have been able to show you how versitile this set is.  The options just keep growing and growing.

The inspiration challenge over at Curtian Call is right up my alley....Orchard is the theme and  Orchards remind me of fall.  Don't get me wrong I love summer, it's my number one season, but around this time of the summer my family craves routine, whether they know it or not.  Fall is awesome for all of it's structure, good night sleeps and therefore less arguments amongst the troops. lol

Anyway, onto the real reason you stopped by.....here is the picture of inspiration.

Screams fall doesn't it? Beautiful!

And my card......

I used some of the new Incolours to create this card, Watermelon Wonder for the apples and flowers, Cucumber Crush for the cardbase, tree leaves and flower stems and finally Tip Top Toupe for the lace trim and the layers behind the greeting and the tree.  The DSP is from the Cherry on Top stack.

Be sure to see all of the creations over at Curtain Call.

Birthday Teeny Tiny Wishes

Happy Sunday!

Glad you could stop by.  I have a birthday card to share with you today.

I wanted to use my new Balloon Framelits Dies....can you believe I haven't used them yet?  I just popped out a balloon from a scrap of DSP - easy!

I used a retired embossing folder for the clouds and I just simply tore the card stock to get some 'grass'.  I used my Teeny Tiny Wishes for my birthday greeting and punched it out using my Word Window Punch and then framed it with my Scalloped Oval Punch and popped it up on Dimensionals.

Some Bakers Twine on the balloon finishes it off!

Here is my card.....

Teeny Tiny Get Well Wishes

Hello my stampin' friends,

I have a quick post for you today for a very simple card!

This card that I have for you was created using an old challenge, but I loved the layout it gave and I wanted to put a cute little spin on it.

I used some fresh colours for this spring like weather we are finally experiencing here!  I used 4 different punches on this card.....Blossom Punch, Petite Petals Punch, Scallop Oval Punch and Large Oval Punch.  My greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes - perfect for SO many occasions!
