Thank you Sunsine and Rainbows

Hi there!

Today, I wanted to share with you the second pillow /thank you gift I made for my team leader and my room mate.  I used a really awesome bundle that is retiring, although didn't know it at the time.   I am SO glad I used it and will have to get a few more projects in before it goes away for good.  Can you guess which one?

It is also fits with this week's theme over at Global Design Project!

It's the Sunshine and Rainbows Bundle!!  I made a large matchbook style holder for the fun treat inside and used the bundle to create this really cute picture for the cover.  The base is Marina Mist, the rainbow colours are Real Red, Tangerine Tango , Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizazz, Marina Mist, Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder.  The greeting is from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, which is also retiring.  Eek!

And here is the treat inside....rainbow Ice flavoured gum!  Truly, I am not sure how it tastes, but the packaging was prefect for the Sunshine and Rainbow Bundle.  :)

I am going to love having this Bundle in my collection.  Perfect for all types of cards, scrapbook pages and 3D projects.  And, a great way to forget about the late winter storms happening here in southern Ontario.

If you love this bundle, you will want to order it before May 25, after that any stampsets are not guaranteed.  Most retiring items are available while supplies last.

Visit my on-line store here and don't forget to check out the Clearance Rack while you are there.

Happy Stampin'

Happy December!

Welcome this the December Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  This month's theme is Christmas, Hanukah or New Year's.  I chose to share a Christmas project.

Are you getting ready for the BIG day?  I am getting there.  Still lots to do, but one thing is for sure, I have many of my crafting projects complete to start spreading the Christmas Cheer!

One of my most favourite things to create are treat holders!  I love to give them away to my customers, to my card class attendees, my garbage man, my postal worker, co-workers, teachers, almost everyone who I want to wish a bit of Christmas Cheer and that I am thankful for all year long.

This year I knew I wanted to use that super cute little test tub that was featured in the Holiday catalogue. (pssst if you love it too, you may want to stock up, the holiday catalogue is ending January 3)

I also wanted to incorporate some hot chocolate.  So I searched the internet and found a GREAT tutorial from Frenciestamps!  You can see her blog post and video tutorial here

I CASE'd her creation, but changed the sizing to accommodate the packet of hot chocolate that I had.  I also changed the colours to match the DSP and cardstock I had on-hand.  Here is my version of it...
I really liked how it turned out.  I used the Merry Cafe stampset for the greeting on the front of the card as well as the cute little holly.  The cup, lit, coffee cup wrap and cute little heart tab are all created from the Coffee Cups framelit set.
The inside message is from the stamp set Snowflake Sentiments.  I love the tiny little snowflakes that come with the Merry Cafe stampset, so just had to add them!
So I have 24 of them all ready to go and start spreading the cheer!
Don't miss any of the hop and make sure you see all of the wonderful creations.  You can do that by following and clicking on the list below or by clicking the 'continue' button below.  Happy Hoppin'

Be sure to keep checking back for all of my Christmas creations.

Happy stampin'

Easter with Roger's Daytime TV!

Hi there!

Happy Easter to you all!  We have a busy weekend planned with lots of visiting with family and friends and hopefully a visit from the Easter bunny, too!

I had promised to show you some pictures of my Easter show on Daytime, Roger's TV where I made lots of Easter projects perfect for sharing.  The first picture is one of my whole display for the show - it shows all of the things I had made, including the Easter cards I have had in my most recent posts.  Why not bring them along for our TV viewers, right?

The next picture is one of my favourite items I made for display!  I used some of the fabulous Chalkboard paper and Ink to make an Easter display picture frame.  I added an Easter bunny bum made from my Circles and Ovals framelits.  I just loved how it turned out!

My next project is some decorated chocolate Easter pops.  When I saw them in my local bulk food store, I liked their size and thought they would be a perfect treat all decorated up - Stampin'UP! style ;)  I used my Banner Framelits, my For Peeps' Sake stampset and my Stampin' Write Markers to add an Easter message.  Finally, I added some of our beautiful Stampin'UP! ribbon.

The next three pictures are of some treats I made using the inspiration from my creative idol, Erica Cerwin!  Not often can I find the same treats as I see online from the US, and when I found these little Easter Egg Gum packs, I knew I just had to make them!  Be sure to check Erica's out here.

My next little treat holder I made using the 4 x 6 Cello bags in the Annual Catalogue, my Ovals Framelits as well as the new Flower Medallion Punch from the Occasions Catalogue.  The stampset is again, For Peeps' Sake!

And finally, last but not least - the fabulous and new Berry Basket Die from the Occasions Catalogue!  My oh my!  This is definitely one for the collection for sure!  It is the perfect size and the cutest throw back to summer time days from my childhood - picking strawberries to make jam with my mom, brother and sister!  Love, love, love it!  AND if that weren't enough for me to HAVE to have it - it makes a PERFECT Easter basket!

I decorated it using the Flower Medallion and the matching Petal Potpourri Stampset (which you can bundle to save 15%)

Well, I hope you enjoyed my Easter display and treats.

Thank you for stopping in.  Happy Easter to you!
